Biography

Robyn received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho in December of 2017, graduating a semester early with Dean’s List honors. .

Prior to becoming an attorney, Robyn attended the University of Idaho in 2002. After taking a criminal justice course, Robyn knew she needed to help the system. Robyn decided to take a break from her education after a prison recruiter gave a presentation during one of her courses. She was offered a job and became the youngest corrections officer in the State. Robyn was old enough to carry a loaded firearm at work, but she could not legally purchase its ammunition! This amazing and unique experience formed Robyn’s principles and core values. During this time, Robyn worked inside both ICIO in Orofino and NICI in Cottonwood (known as the Rider Program). Robyn truly learned that really good people can make really bad mistakes, but all people should be treated with dignity and respect and be given the opportunity to receive quality treatment. People often ask Robyn how she can represent clients that have committed egregious offenses. Robyn’s compassionate responses are a direct result of this experience..

Robyn left the prison system to finish her undergraduate degree at LCSC in Lewiston. Robyn spent her breaks and summers working at Potlatch, driving forklifts and sweeping sawdust. She is no stranger to hard work. During these years, Robyn also worked at Hells Canyon State Park, enjoying the beauty of the Lewis-Clark Valley. .

After graduation, Robyn left the Valley to be closer to her family near Coeur d’Alene. She worked as a 9-1-1 call taker, dispatcher, and trainer for the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department, where she solidified her ability to think critically and act diligently under pressure, while providing superior customer service to those in need. This experience allowed Robyn to see another perspective of the justice system and understand the operational side of law enforcement. .

Robyn briefly left the State of Idaho for a few years, where she worked as a Courtroom Clerk for Superior Court Justices, allowing her to understand what happens behind the Judge’s bench. Robyn returned to Idaho in 2014 to attend law school at the University of Idaho..

Robyn was born and raised in North Idaho, originally from St. Maries. Robyn's valuable life experience and ability to empathize with clients allows her to stand apart. Robyn currently practices in Latah, Nez Perce, Idaho, Lewis, and Benewah County. In her spare time, Robyn enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, and golfing.
